About Chef Carolyn Hoyte

A native of Guyana, Professional Chef Carolyn Hoyte was born into a family heritage rich with celebrating life through food. Among her fondest memories as a child was the discovery of the cultural importance placed on food. This gave her balance and deep respect for food.

The impact was so profound, that it became a passion for her which turned into a career goal in the Culinary Arts. Continuing that pursuit in the profession of Culinary Arts, Carolyn graduated among the top 10 of her class at the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts where she received a Magna Cum-Laude award. Carolyn also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and Politics from St. John’s University in New York.

In the years directly following school, she pursued classical cooking techniques from opportunities that permitted her the ability to expand and experiment with her vision.

Today, Carolyn is the owner and head Chef of Divine Decadent Catering, which is one of the most sought out catering companies and Personal Chef Services in the Metro Atlanta area.
